Third Chapter Curious - Spotlight Interview - Segment 3 “Short and Sweet, Catching Up with Al”

INTERVIEWER:

What a difference a year makes! What are a few highlights you’ve experienced since we last spoke? 

AL:

We have started a new 3D home construction printing program at Northern Michigan College. When completed, it will be the first of its kind in the state of Michigan.

INTERVIEWER:

What is something you’ve changed your mind about this past year? How have your views, beliefs, and values shifted and evolved?

AL:

I have made the strategic decision to relocate to the Grand Rapids marketplace. The relocation will provide greater access to the area because of its location between Detroit, Traverse City, and Chicago.

INTERVIEWER:

Tell me about a new hobby, skill, or interest you’ve developed. How do you want to expand on those in 2026?

AL:

The use of AI has dramatically changed my productivity and strategy.  I am now planning to use it in the design process.

INTERVIEWER:

What is something you’d like to see more of in the world? This can be an action, a principle, a mindset, or any concept, no matter how ephemeral.

AL:

PEACE! We are all in the same boat together.

INTERVIEWER:

Life is too serious most of the time—what do you do to keep things light?

AL:

Sharing funny YouTube videos with my wife.
